Our Story
Chef Zanele Tshongweni, owner of Food My Way by ZazaT, found her culinary inspiration in her grandmother’s kitchen in Cala, Eastern Cape, where she developed a passion for South African cuisine with a modern twist. A graduate of Capsicum Culinary Studio (Cape Town, 2012), she refined her skills as an assistant chef at Dumhuis Restaurant, gaining valuable experience in teamwork and leadership.
In 2010, she launched her own catering business, AveQonda Caterers, which evolved into Food My Way. Over 11 years, she has crafted her own recipes that blend tradition and global influences.
